Work to start on Vung Tau – Dong Nai bridge

A bridge will be built this September to connect the port province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau with the industrial hub of Dong Nai.

Expected to cost VND4.87 trillion ($208 million) of the state budget, Phuoc An Bridge will stretch more than 3.7 kilometers, including leading roads, to cross the Thi Vai River, and span 26 meters with six lanes.

The river is the natural border between the two provinces, which both border Ho Chi Minh City. More than 13 hectares in both provinces will be cleared to serve the project.
