Was looking for a flight for a friend in Oregon to come visit later this month.

 

In December, I paid $561 on ANA for a flight here. That same flight is now over $7000.

 

I just checked on kayak.  Not sure where in Oregon (I choose Portland)....United Airlines/ANA had prices @ $1500+

Use Google Flights, to compare the cheapest on any given day.

I see flights from the US for $900 round trip, short 1 stop layover, nearly a perfect flight at that.
