Thirty eight tremors recorded in Andaman sea in one week - all minor and no tsunamis

Sanook reported comments from the Earthquake Observation Division in Thailand after a series of tremors were detected in the Andaman Sea 500 kilometers from Phangnga between 4th and 9th of July.

 

The division said there were 38 minor to medium tremors that registered less than 5 on the Richter Scale. 

 

They occurred in the same area and were quite normal and resulted in no tsunamis.
