Burma Bill
For reference - issued by the Cambodian Ministry of Health (24 July 2022):- 1. For suspected or sick cases: In case the person shows the following symptoms: rash, itchy blisters on the body, palms, soles, feet and face, accompanied by fever over 38.5 degrees Celsius and headache, swollen lymph nodes, muscle and body pain, low back pain, Exhaustion, along with a history of travel to places where Monkeypox is endemic, they should be kept in isolation for immediate medical check-ups or immediate referral to a nearby hospital. 2. For the general population: Practice good hygiene and clean living by cleaning your hands with soap and alcohol and prevent respiratory infections. Avoid direct contact with people with the disease or suspected individuals, including sexual contact, especially skin or blisters, until the disease is cured. Avoid touching the patient’s or suspected patient’s equipment, such as clothes, pillows, plates, spoons, glasses, water, etc, and wash the equipment of this person separately. Asymptomatic suspects should not be subjected to sedation and can work normally, just being careful not to touch others during the 21-day follow-up The link below gives full information (just in case the Thai Ministry of Health has not!):- https://www.khmertimeskh.com/501118428/ministry-of-health-issues-preventive-measures-against-monkeypox-transmission-in-cambodia/ Edited July 24, 2022 by Burma Bill additional information
geisha
I wonder what will happen now ? Personally, I think he should be cured first ( under supervision) and deported back to Nigeria. He’s obviously a crook and cannot be trusted. Spreading diseases around is not my idea of an honest person. Also having had overstay and problems in Cambodia. 1

EricTh
The Nigerian man has been caught in Cambodia. How did Thai immigration not catch him when he tried to live Thailand on overstay? The report also said he had unprotected sex with a woman. 142 people in Thailand are now being screened for the Monkeypox, no thanks to this selfish man. God knows how many people he infected in Cambodia too. Edited July 24, 2022 by EricTh 1

geisha
From my understanding Covid can be airborne, so coughing , sneezing, touching things, can infect people nearby . ( that’s where wearing a mask works, and for the mask wearer he will not spread Covid so easily , and hand washing of course). Also being in a closed room and close contact helps spread Covid. With Monkeypox, I think you have to have physical contact, as the virus is in the rash/ little bubbles . which rupture on contact with people . That also means their clothes, bed sheets , towels, are infected as well. So if you don’t go round touching people, or let them touch you, you can’t catch it. The authorities have warned the hotels/ condo etc he’s known to have stayed in to disinfect everything!! The rash/ blisters/ bubbles can be on the whole body. So unprotected sex or not, makes no difference with monkeypox.,
