"It won't be so bad......"

Recommended Posts

Multiple "Crisises" on the horizon. Too numerous to mention (especially if you live in Europe).

But the global "share markets" are currently sending a clear signal: "It won't be that bad". Possibly taking the clue from "all the crisises over the last 75 years we have always mastered". And: "There is still so much liquidity sloshing around, that TINA (There Is No Alternative) to stocks is reason to buy stocks at the flimsiest positive news. Thus making a true "bear-market" a thing of the past.

I am not so sure, this time around.

30 years in the market and the best you got is someone else's quote ?

it wont be so bad ...brought to you by the people that made the 2008 gong show happen. then kicked the can down the road and played all nice for the last 14 years ?

maybe print another few trillion that should solve the problem.

Ever heard of a balanced portfolio?

Sounds like you got badly burned in '08 & made some bad decisions.

Better luck this time around.????????

I suggest that 2008 has long  gone, totally different world now  - Move on.

Plenty of opportunities out there.

Research your goals (and remember that future expected returns should not be based on past returns.)

If unsure.... "Cash can be King".

Good hunting.????????

Hi Sharksy. Your call can be correct depending on the individuals personal circumstances (age is a large factor.) Generally, "Cash is King" relates to people who have a need to spend in the immediate future (eg: house deposit), and wish to protect their funds.

Also for those who find they can not sleep at night through market volatility.

The balanced portfolio provides some security from downturns and also allows a springboard when markets pick up.

Yes....it's a brutal game.????????

Tiger, tiger lurking in the dark..........

Negative news increasing by the day. Globally. But the "markets" still signalling "it won't be so bad". Still massive liquitity looking for a home. The home was the share markets. Who want's to leave a cosy home?

Still, I remain: Tiger, tiger lurking in the dark..........
