At this point in time it is illegal to smoke in public and a cafe is classed as a public space..!!!!

I tried 'the Old Weed Man' cafe in walking street.  I tried the drinks and the brownies, but I guess they are at 'legal' levels as I felt no effects whatsoever.

 

There was a hand made sign offering joints, but I don't smoke, so wanted to try the edible options.

I was going there to get cbd and thc oil but haven't been since the weed thing has really taken off. I imagine they are probably selling buds in there now.

Not a comfortable place to sit though. Unless you like sitting around with thais you don't know watching channel 3 in silence.

There's a place on Soi Buakhao towards the Pattaya Tai end and on the corner before the Tuesday/Friday market. It must be the real thing because there are a number of bean bags outside to roll about on.

Ur absolutely wrong.

Most of weed shops better weed it's imports from USA or NL. Know Blow owners and yeh it's mostly imported. Cafes in BKK are supplied with imported stuff.

 

It's ironic cuz back in the day Thai weed was exported to USA and now it's imported huge. It's shady rich ppl deals u guess it.

 

US weed is over supplied and cheap while here is no enough good weed supplies.

 

It's actually very hard to buy like 30kg good weed here for a reasonable price. 

 

Imported stuff whole sale prices goes like from 220g to 370 420 g depends on strain. and min order is pounds 448g so around 130k 160k pound here imports. 

 

Then they sell that to u for 700 a g

 

Here's Thai weed activists open letter. It hurts local growers.

There is a shop tucked away in south pattaya with varous striains of cannabis and a lounge area with a bong and grinder to use. The prices are right and the service is top notch. Might wanna check them out its called World Wide Weed below the condo building Yensabai Condotel. You wont be disappointed. Well worth the effort to goto. Hope this Helps.

Lol that letter is hilarious. Like international drug smugglers have ever cared about local farmers profits. 

 

Also sidenote in Canada now, you can get really good weed for 15,000-20,000 baht/pound (~35 baht/gram) on the black market (in stores it's cheap too now, not just black market). This is the stuff they are selling for 300-600/gram in Thailand. 

 

The premium AAAA weed in Canada is about 35,000-40,000 baht per pound. (~80 baht/gram). This is the stuff they are trying to sell for 600-800/gram here. 

 

Maybe she should be begging her government to not allow importing marijuana instead hey? (Yes I know people would still do it illegally, but it would maybe stop the big importers a bit)
