500 Baht for Yellow Belt

Featured Replies

Our Kindergarten boy does an hour of Taekeondo at school once a week for 600thb pet session.

We got a note from school asking us if we want him tested to advance to Yellow belt at a cost of 500thb.

I am outraged that they’re asking us to pay for the test. Never heard this from experience. It’s not about money.

Just wondering how many parents would refuse. Don’t think any. More so, I wonder how many kids they would fail after taking money from the parents.

Have you encountered something similar?

sounds like a bargain...

If your son wants to do the yellow belt test pay for it you tight son of a deleted. ????

all to common practice... and the price goes way up the higher you go...

In some institutions, as a student becomes competent to teach, there may be some "credits" accumulated to offset the costs...

So you think I’m over-reacting. Fair enough I’ll do it. After all he’s half Thai. Never too early to learn how the system works here.
