Please just post the relevant info or a precis! Here is a snippet For the three years that former President Barack Obama wrote his 768-page memoir after leaving the White House, the millions of pages of his official presidential records were locked away in warehouses in Washington and Chicago. Each time Mr. Obama wanted to review something, his aides submitted precise requests to the National Archives and Records Administration. Sometimes, documents would be encrypted and loaded onto a laptop that would be brought to Mr. Obama at his office in Washington. Other times, a paper document would be placed in a locked bag for his perusal, and later returned the same way. The tightly restricted process that Mr. Obama followed to gain access to the 30 million records from his presidency stands in stark contrast to former President Donald J. Trump’s seemingly haphazard handling of some of the government’s most sensitive documents after he left office in early 2021. 4
ozimoron
The way I see it, this level of FBI concern over the documents has to be related to one or more of three issues. Russia Russia Russia. Corrupt Dealings with the Federalist Society. Obstruction of justice in relation to the FBI's efforts to get them back.

ozimoron
Trump World’s Mar-a-Lago Offensive Backfires It turns out the former president tried to block FBI access to retained classified documents, but Biden intervened. Meantime, some unsolicited advice to the former president and his apologists: If you are trying not to get indicted, the best defense is usually not a good offense. How I like right-wing media those days! ???? Another quote: "Given that the former president was not responsibly securing the government’s most closely held intelligence, that he was trying to prevent the FBI from examining what he’d returned, that his lawyers were either misinformed about or lying about the classified information still retained at Mar-a-Lago, and that even the issuance of a grand-jury subpoena (with potential criminal penalties for noncompliance) had not succeeded in getting Trump to hand over the remaining classified information, what option short of a search warrant would have sufficed?" 3 1
