Assuming the 45 day visa exempt soon can I supplement with 30 day ext and then a 60 day extension

Featured Replies

I am US citizen, 73yo. and have Thai wife. I have plan to come in mid Nov and to enter visa exempt.  Since I wish to stay about 130 days I will apply for extension from the visa exempt status which gets 75 days.  My question is can I apply for 60 day extension to stay with wife, this would be best for me.  My IO for about 8 years is KKC.  I am aware of some of the other more popular ways using border runs, etc.

Thanks in advance.

There is a 60 day extension after the 30? or are you short-handing the idea of leaving and coming back with 30 day and then 30 day extension to get the extra 60. Thank you for information

Darren,  I don't quite understand your question.  Just view the post from Dr Jack 54.  That is exactly what I wish to do.  My question was primarily directed as to if the 60 day to visit wife could be used "after" the 45+30.  Hope this answers your question.
