Yes, I've heard good things about Brave, but a little wary of using it as I don't know if it'll use all the bookmarks, etc, that I currently have in Chrome. I suppose I'd better start Googling about it. (A little joke. Very little.)

JetsetBkk Posted September 11, 2022 Author Posted September 11, 2022 While waiting for some replies - thanks very much! - I installed AdBlocker because I was desperate to get rid of the d**n adverts, but I couldn't pay for it. I was going to give them $5 but I didn't receive the OTP on my phone (or an email) even though the number they showed was my number. But still it got installed and works great. Any reason why you guys prefer AdGuard? I've not heard of it until now.

Popular Post worgeordie Posted September 11, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 11, 2022 Ublock origin is the best I have found , Adguard slows your PC down by about 50 % comparing both with a speed test. ublock origin FREE , Adguard have to buy. regards worgeordie 2 1

Daffy D Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 Just a thought, On the top right corner of Google click on the little cookie icon to confirm your extension is actually pinned.

I don't know if that is different to yours or a typo? https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock-plus-free-ad-bloc/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb I installed it mainly because of the intrusive ads here on this site and its previous incarnation. Works great. 1 1
RafPinto Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 I am also fed up with this constant bombarding with adds from "Noblehome". Can't see one of my favourite channels on youtube without getting bombarded from the above.

JetsetBkk Posted September 12, 2022 Author Posted September 12, 2022 I still haven't changed from Adblock on Chrome on my Windows 10 (busy sorting out my XP PC ) but I thought I'd tell you all about the "Adblock Browser" on my Android phone. It's brilliant! I can actually use the phone to post this message with NO, Zero, Zilch, ads getting in the way! In fact, I haven't seen any, let alone "getting in the way"!
