Thailand Visa Exemption (60 days) and Visa On Arrival (VOA) (15 days)
OK this is already described in here but I am a paranoid SOB. I am flying in on a USA passport arriving January 17, with return ticket for March 17. This is exactly 60 days including arrival and departure dates. Just to be clear I will have no paperwork to fill out on arrival and need no other documents to enter Thailand and I will get a 60 day stamp on the VE system correct? Sorry this is kinda a repeat but I've been doing this for so long and always got a tourist visa in advance before. I feel naked showing up with nothing and don't like the idea if I have to fill out forms at one of those side benches in Suvarnabumi. -

Taking Someone Home: Ever Reach Down and Get an Unexpected Surprise?
I'm in UK in my home city just now and I got contacted on a dating app..a Thai (32) in my area from exact same city I live in Thailand....not being up front that they were trans... 2 of 5 photos would pass as female. I saw her/him on another app last couple months ID-ing as trans but not on the one I was contacted on. I just find it deceptive...yes they could choose female but be upfront in their profile that they are trans.... -

Little Minds come from Minuscule Screens?: Ever wonder what's wrong with kids today?
Drivel is as Dribble does..... Who is to say what is drivel, anyway? For example, could it actually be possible that my postings are far more profound than you are able to perceive? And, if for some reason, you are unable to glean the profundity of my Topics, then whose fault is that? Mine? I think not....in fact. -

U.S. Senators Introduce Legislation to Counter UN Actions Against Israel
What fanatics? The US senators referenced are not fanatics. Have you read the legislation? It is not unreasonable. All that it says is that if the UN chooses to isolate Israel, it should not expect the USA to fund the UN programs that have isolated Israel. For example, in 2023 Iran's was given the chair appointment for the UN Human Rights Council Social Forum. Iran is a documented abuser of human rights, hanging teenage homosexuals from cranes in public, beating and raping of women who refuse to wear hijabs. Iran used the position to attack and to condemn Israel. Why would you expect let alone demand that the USA pay for that? The US taxpayers as a whole object. Yes, but that does not excuse countries like Afghanistan where women are enslaved, or Syria which had 500,000+ killed at the hands of Hezbollah, Assad and Iran, or Sudan which has allowed Islamic militias to kill 100,000+ Africans and many others to attack and to single out Israel . Rubbish, Who are the senators and how much were they paid? The Arab lobby payments dwarf the small amounts AIPAC has used for lobbying. For example the Saudis have spent hundreds of millions in lobbying. Between 2016 and 2022, Saudi foreign agents paid more than $142 million in lobbying, https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2022/10/saudi-arabia-ramped-up-foreign-influence-operations-in-the-us-during-bidens-presidency/ Look at what Qatar or the UAE pays in lobbying. The Gaza war can end if Gaza agrees to stop firing missiles and rockets at israel and releases the hostages or says where the bodies of the victims are. Why would you expect Israel to not pursue the liberation of the hostages and to accept the ongoing rocket and missile attacks? You are expressing your bias. The tunnel network between hospitals and schools and the Hamas videos of their use as bunkers, munitions depots, command and control centers has been established. The facilities stopped being civilian and became legitimate targets as soon as Hamas used them for their war. Warnings were given. Hamas wants civilian casualties. It is part of the Hamas strategy to obtain as many civilian casualties as possible so that gullible people like you will have an excuse to condemn Israel. The vast majority of Gazans killed were combatants or were aiding and supporting the war. Yes some women and young adults have died. Who do you think operates the radios, and worked in the command bunkers or distributed the munitions? Hamas intentionally billeted its family members in some areas to act as human shields and fired rockets and missiles from such places. -

Trump - just what does he have to do for his supporters to question their allegiance?
At this point, nothing. Just have fun with the current situation. It's a circus that you can't really control so have fun with it. Individuals are dumb, crowds are even dumber. This is just part of our reality as a species. So trigger the left, trigger the right, let people get hysterical and enjoy the mayhem :) And if you want to take a breather and reset, watch a George Carlin show on Youtube. That guy knew... -

Most affordable place to get Lipoma removed in Bangkok?
Currently not in Bangkok yet but I'm a North American traveler who plans to get one minor Lipoma removal (on the arm) procedure one day prior to my flight back home. So far, I have got an email confirmation with Sukhumvit Hospital in the coming weeks for an in-person consult appointment costing ~$1000 baht , and emailed them a sonogram ultrasound report about my lipoma details. They ensured me I could get the surgical removal done on the same day and told me I can't get a price estimation until I get the consult done. On the side, I'm getting some price estimates from other hospitals (Bumrungrad Hospital and Bangkok Christian Hospital so far), and Bumrungrad replied back with a 30-35k baht price range which is ridiculous as this is more expensive than my country lol, so that is automatically ruled out. With that said I'm here to ask anyone for pricing and/or quality experience with Lipoma removals at Bangkok Hospitals? My budget is between $10k-$15k baht at the most, and if you have insights on Sukhumvit Hospital for lipoma removals or similar minor surgery cut procedures that would be fantastic. Thanks. PS: I do want to mentioned I will be in Chiang Mai and Ao Nang, Krabi for a couple of days each earlier in my trip but I'd prefer to avoid those hospitals as I want to enjoy the remainder of my trip and not have physical limitations from the procedure, i.e: swimming, etc. Bangkok is my #1 preference, then Krabi, followed by Chiang Mai. I am also open to non-hospital clinics as this is a cosmetic procedure.
