September 30, 20223 yr As far as I know it is still available 24 hours a day. The desk for them is after departure immigration.

October 1, 20223 yr I just saw this post and it reminded me I have 2 trips abroad in the next month and I forgot to get re-entry permits. Too late to schedule an appointment online for Chaeng Wattana Complex for the first trip, so my choices are to go to CWC without an appt or get at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Does anyone know how long it takes to get a re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi before a 800am flight? Is it a long wait to get at CWC without an appt? Can I get 2 re-entry permits at the same time (2 x 1000 Baht < 3800 Baht for multiple)?

At the airport it does not take very long to get the re-entry permit. I depends upon how busy they are. You can only get one re-entry permit at a time. A multiple re-entry permit would be valid to the day current extension ends. If there is any chance you would need another one before then a multiple re-entry permit would be good.

It's always open and if unattended immigration staff will round someone up. At DMK the office is just past immigration. You can see the office from passport control. At BKK the office past security and before immigration. Zone 2. Reentry permit is quick process at both airports. Personally I like to have the TM8 form all filled in with photo, fee etc all done prior to trip to airport.
