Horrible.   That's the thing about seeing people here really thin.  Being that thin can't be healthy for many people here.   Some, sure, not many.   Thin when young and middle-aged, then fat when old is how I want it to be......"old" in my book is 70 and older.   I don't want to fall and easily break a hip.  I think being a little fat at that age might help, drink more milk I guess.

It depends on whether the thin condition is a result of malnutrition, or a less fat-inducing diet. Obesity takes years off life expectancy.

79 yo, and I daresay I am healthier than quite a few 60 year olds I see here.

Being fat in old age is not good, Type 2 diabetes beckons. The first thing doctors tell diabetic and prediabetic patients is "LOSE WEIGHT"

Is this where the birthing parent started?

Quote

...And a few years ago, the Midwives Alliance of North America revised its Core Competencies manual to make the language more gender-inclusive, on occasion referring to ‘birthing parents’ instead of ‘mothers’.

Last year I saw a news article, which I can't find anymore, where a woman referred to herself as a person with a vagina and to men as people with penises.

That must have been last year or earlier. By now that person was probably cancelled. ????

What's the world coming to? I can write here the names of musical instruments like clarinet and oboe, but not <deleted>?

This won't stop me from going to this concert across the border to which a friend has invited me.

If you want to put a faggoti in your mouth and blow it for 90 minutes when others have paid to watch you perform, you should be allowed to do that

As a professional writer, this <deleted> pisses me off to no end. We are no longer allowed to be concise and forced to resort to euphemism.

Are you the next Henry Fielding?  Fielding was not a professional writer,

Can you, as a professional writer, write anything as great as Fanny Hill?

Next time you write something as great as Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure, please publish it here.

Or, even more interesting:  Are you sort of a writer, similar to the professional writer,  Galileo Galilei?

Maybe you are as disturbed, as was Darwin. another professional writer?

Actually, you don't sound like a professional writer, too much.

What is a euphemism, anyway?

Do you mean something like if I were to use the word pistil?

OK, fine.

I love pistils.

Pistils at dawn. or at Dawn.

I will never view another cinematic duel in the same way again. I will forever think "Should've chosen pistils".  Only Monty Python could have filmed such a scene with integrity, and even then I am sceptical whether it would have stood the test of time.  Test of thyme.
