Floods triggered by heavy rains paralyze central Vietnam

Heavy downpours from early Sunday to early Monday have resulted in floods and flash floods in central provinces.

Many areas in mountainous districts of Son Ha and Tra Bong in Quang Ngai Province were flooded, with roads and bridges submerged under water by around one meter on Monday morning.

In Thua Thien-Hue and Quang Tri provinces, many roads, including a section of National Highway 1A, have been inundated since Monday morning, paralyzing traffic.
