DNA test results have confirmed two skeletons found in a forest in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai as a father and son duo.

The skeletons belong to Hoang Quoc Bao, 37, and his son, 11. They are both residents in Buon Ma Thuot Town of Gia Lai, police said Monday.

The DNA test results matched what a local woman had claimed. The 57-year-old woman, who currently lives in southern Dong Nai Province, came to the police on Aug. 28 and claimed the remains to be of her son and grandson.
