Thousands of houses in Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces have been left inundated, prompting locals to commute by boat Tuesday.

 

More than 1,500 houses in Tam Ky Town of Quang Nam are submerged in 20-100 centimeters of floodwaters on Tuesday morning.

 

The flood measuring column in Tam Ky's Phuoc Hoa Ward, an hour south of tourist town Hoi An, recorded the water level at nearly 1.8 meters at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
