So it's attitude. How old are you? Can you not visit Thailand once a year?

Yes I probably could visit Thailand every year if I economized on every other aspect of my life for the rest of the year, but the reason I don't is that it would be horrible having to leave again and return to this life for 11 months.

I made my bed and now I must lie in it for better or worse.

Don't get me wrong- my life was AMAZING and WONDERFUL. The problem is accepting a life that isn't.

Most of my good times were either young or in Thailand. My mate in his 70s says the same. 10 years in Thailand best years.

I dont know any happy 70yos in the west. All unhappy.

Isnt that just how you perceive it, as reflecting backward at something that is "history" and not focussing on going forward. Lifeis exactly what you choose to make of it.

Thais live on 15,000 baht a month. Maybe think about ways to live there like that.

That's reminds of a saying.

There are only 2 days in a lifetime that you can do nothing about.

Yesterday and tomorrow. ????

You think I want to spend my month in Thailand by myself and living in some second rate guest house?

That budget would last just 3 days for totty alone.

Possible on much less than that.

I guess OP problem is the 1 year extension requirements.

At the risk of being subject to much "advice", I live in yesterday and wish tomorrow never came.

Why do you think I keep posting on this forum? It's to keep my link with Thailand alive. Not for this forum, Thailand would fade away like everything else in my life.

I will not go to my last great adventure fighting to stay a little longer.

Cambodian visa $300us no requirements. Live in Siem Reap. Hop over into Thailand.

TBL complains a lot about being in NZ but wont consider ideas. He has to read and plan. Where there is a will there is a way.

Ever considered that I don't need your advice?

I am still able to put my pants on all by myself every day. I'm a big boy and can make my own decisions without being told what to do by you. Certainly don't need your criticism.

Bye.

I'm not depressed.

I'm sad, but there are no pills for sadness. If they ever get around to making m j legal for recreational use I'll be stoned the rest of my life.

Chill.

Insurance 70,000 baht and too old to get anyway.

800,000 in bank for visa extension- don't have

Plane fare- don't have

Pension- can't get in LOS.

Next.

I was giving this topic some consideration and came to the conclusion that I fall in love with women all the time, but not real ones. Much safer, can't get an STD or unwanted baby, and don't need presents, dinners or wedding rings.

Seems the internet does have something I like, after all.
