Many streets in Vung Tau, a beach town near HCMC, have been flooded while landslides blocked a road on Thursday.

 

Due to heavy rains on Thursday morning, a series of streets in downtown Vung Tau were submerged by up to 30 centimeters.

 

Walking her motorbike through floodwaters to reach work, Le Hoai Nuong said she had tried to avoid seriously flooded sections but to no avail.
