Pattaya — A 27-year-old Pattaya resident said he was brutally bludgeoned and slashed in his forehead by a group of his old friends. His mother claimed to the media that her son was attacked twice this month.

A deputy investigator from the Chonburi police station, Pol. Lt. Col. Pinyalak Sinworawiwat, visited Comephee Thungkhun, 27, at his residence in Soi Thung Klom-Tan Man in Banglamung’s Nongprue subdistrict to see how he was doing after he was reported to have survived a frightening experience.

The visit took place at 9.30 PM on Sunday, November 13th. Comephee said he miraculously managed to escape his assailants who bludgeoned him with a stick and slit his forehead with a knife by running blindly through the forest to get to his house located three kilometers from the incident scene.

Why can the whole world just prosecute ALL knife crime as attempted murder - 30 years , no parole. The world is far too soft to criminals now - 30 years in the nick is a far better deterrent than 6 months probation
