Drunk Burmese man stabs his Thai “friend” to death in Pattaya

Pattaya — A drunk Burmese man stabbed his 29-year-old Thai “friend” to death at a drinking party and fled early Sunday morning.


Pol. Lt. Col. Manod Thipwet was notified of a murder at a worker’s camp in Banglamung, Chonburi, and rushed to the scene with Sawang Boriboon rescuers early Sunday, November 20th.

 

The victim, Mr. Natthaphong Namkot, a 29-year-old Thai national, was found deceased with a knife stuck in his right chest. Pol. Lt. Col. Manod questioned an eyewitness Mr. Jetsada Thepchai, 24, about the incident and was told the victim was stabbed by his Burmese friend only identified as “M.”
