Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any weed smoking places near Victory Monument in Bangkok

Lounges per definition are illegal.

While it is correct that smoking cannabis within a dispensary or shop was deemed illegal a few weeks ago, with the medical treatment exception, it does appear as though there may be a hack.

Tourists puff and pass with buds at Khaosan’s new cannabis complex

Plantopia management has found a way to avoid the big fines and jail time threatened for dispensaries which allow smoking on the premises by building a designated smoking lounge equipped with a ventilation system for people to light up.

Whether these continue to be allowed remains to be seen. If they do then one could expect this "alternative" - a ventilated space unassociated with a sepcific dispensary, and acceptable tot he "authorities" - to expand to/within other entertainment and tourist areas.
