webfact
Picture: Thai Rath Thai Rath had a report from Chiang Mai about the introduction of the new "E-Ticket" system for fines, checking motoring misdemeanors and points deduction system. It will be fully up and running from January 9th. The media had pictures of a foreigner without a helmet on a bike being spoken to by a traffic cop and another paying a fine at the police station along with Thais having their details checked and paying fines. Picture: Thai Rath Equality under the law was promised. Deputy in charge of the northern Thai province's traffic Pol Lt-Col Suphachai Janthara said the system was fully integrated and would help traffic police in checking wrong doing, driver history and warrants. In addition the public could check their points tallies. There was absolutely no need to worry that E-fines would be fake. It was all thoroughly efficient and of an international standard. Picture: Thai Rath The buzzwords in a long slogan were "reducing accidents" by focusing on "safe driver discipline" allowing people to "recognise and not repeat their mistakes" and creating "equality under the law" according to "international standards." The public will be able to use an app called "Khub Dee" that translates as "drive well". Thai Rath said that on Tuesday 56 people died on the Thai roads, including two foreigners, and there were 2,570 injuries. That brought the year total to 13,520 dead and 866,437 injured. In Chiang Mai in November there were the following infringements: No helmets: 2,751 cases No license: 2,407 cases No seatbelt: 87 cases Going the wrong way: 14 cases. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-12-08 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. alien365
How did they find people not wearing seatbelts? From when they wind their window down at a checkpoint? I best remind the in-laws if so as they often forget.

Considering all the deaths and accidents on Thai roads, Thailand DOES need road laws and they should be enforced 1 1
