Motorbike sidecar catches fire while turning into gas station

A motorbike sidecar caught fire while a driver was turning into a gas station in Pattaya.

 

Emergency responders were notified of the accident Tuesday night (December 13th) in front of a gas station in Baan Nawang, Banglamung.

 

Firefighters, emergency responders, and the Pattaya News team arrived at the scene to find an injured man, Mr. Chockchai Chaipinit, 25, who had sustained burn injuries on his right arm while fleeing the burning vehicle. He was rushed to a local hospital for medical assistance.

It was actually the motorbike that caught fire not the sidecar.

 

Good thing it happened before he started fueling up.

Yes I was stuck behind one cussing the other day and his 3rd wheel, nothing more than a bicycle wheel, was wobbling all over the place looking ready to come off.... this was on a motorway slip road! Not roadworthy in the main.

Well done to Staff for acting quickly, pushing the bike away from pumps then using an extinguisher. Give that young woman a bonus ! Employee of the month award.

nah  '    she was sacked because a customer was waiting at another pump for gas and complained.
