When  I try to call USA  which has country  code one,   the number shows 61 which is Australia.

 

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply.    What is the UI you talk about at the top of the screen?   Under settings  the phone shows only this.     No country settings.   

 

 

 

He means the country you wish to phone, see image, change it to USA.

Thank you.   All good now.

If you are using a VPN, don't forget that you have to manually change this every time.  It catches me out a lot.    I wish Skype would have a setting to enable or disable Country Code via IP Address.
