Food delivery guy Suthee, 18, was driving his Honda Wave after picking up food for a customer in Soi Bang Na Garden off the Bang Na - Trat highway in Samut Prakan.

As he prepared to use the U-turn bridge in Bang Bo he noticed flames from under the seat.

He stopped and suddenly the flames became fierce. All he could do was grab the customer's dinner from the box on the back and run off to a safe distance.

He watched as his bike disintegrated before his eyes.

He admitted that he had fixed an additional battery under the seat to enable him to use a spotlight on the bike. He guessed that was probably what caused it.

He told Siam Rath how he worked all hours to provide for his family and recorded his distress at seeing his only transport and means of making a living burn up.

Bang Bo police are investigating.

Siam Rath did not report if the customer ever got their dinner.

If they did we suggest a large tip.

Yea - Errr just run with one battery appears to be a good tip ..........LOL

???? for saving the customer's dinner. I feel sad about his motorbike, he might not have a fire insurance, and if he has, it might not cover with the battery modification.
