I just bought a Dominos Pizza and a Russian couple walked in and started ordering.    She's dancing like a miss fluzzy and he's acting like he's a movie star.

Anyway,  when I opened the door to leave they were walking in to get their order ....   young couple  ,  19's - 22's .. yr olds.

 

I said ...  '   Your not welcome in any country '   ...  and he said thank you , good night.

 

Was I wrong to say anything ?   would you have said more ?    

 

 

You are not in a position to state who is and isn't welcome in Thailand and its really inappropriate  to abuse people based on their nationality and if you carry on that way , you are likely to get into a physical fight

Don't blame Russians for the actions of their government.

I agree that Russians should be isolated in their own country, I agree that Thailand should not allow them in, but I would not and do not say anything to the individuals who are here. If they have got any sense of decency at all, they will be highly embarrassed and feel badly enough, with what is being done in their name in Ukraine, I would leave it and be satisfied with that.

I understand where you coming from,  however .... I have my beliefs and you have yours.  I don't accept the rape and murder of civillians under any circumstance,  and not to do so would be shamefull.

Did you ask the two Russians whether they were in favour and agree with what the Russian Army is doing in Ukraine ?

   Its more than likely that they would oppose any atrocities in Ukraine and you are no different to the idiots who attack Chinese people because of Covid

Are you SURE they were Russian? Why are they not welcome? Because of their nationality? Are you trying to blame the Ukraine invasion on these people and all Russian citizens? If so, you were wrong. The people of Russia are good people for the most-part. You might use those words on Putin and his generals (who are mostly dead now thanks to the fierce Ukraine fighters) but not on innocent Russian citizens.

 

Just like many Asians (mostly elderly) are being attacked in the US because the Covid-19 originated in China. These people had nothing to do with that. There is no reason for them to be attacked and abused.

I was just in Pattaya and the amount of dastardly Russians and there usual impolite and glum expressionless  faces was overwhelming.

 

CHINA is opening up in January.   Things will get worse.
