This is, simply stated, just another ethanol-fueled fiasco. One of the principle attractions of Pattaya, for tourists, is the mistaken perception that they will be permitted to run riot in Thailand without suffering justifiable repercussions. Someday, Thailand will shut down the bars which attract the riff raff. And then, the more-boorish of Russians will head to PNG, hopefully, where people may not treat them so kindly when they step out of line. May we live so long to see this day.
