Taylor Swift Shines in Poll, Surpassing Expectations Against Trump and Harris
All the Republicans who are insulting and demeaning her would be loving her if she bent down and kissed the ring of their emporer. End of story. All the whining and insults are all about she won't support our guy. Too bad. He is too unlikable and too slimy. -

Revisiting History: The Unlikely Campaign to Vilify Winston Churchill
I don't know what you think this proves. Here's a shorter entry about Silesia: After World War I, Lower Silesia, having by far a German majority, remained with Germany while Upper Silesia, after a series of insurrections by the Polish inhabitants, was split. Part joined the Second Polish Republic and was administered as the Silesian Voivodeship. The Prussian Province of Silesia within Germany was divided into the Provinces of Lower Silesia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Silesia A very ethnically mixed area. And of course, after WW2, when Germany lost the territory it had briefly reclaimed by means of war, it somehow managed to thrive without it. At least what was then West Germany did. Maybe to a few people like you, it's still an issue. -

Thailand Introduces New Bill to Regulate Cannabis While Keeping It Legal
Being intoxicated on cannabis is bad for your health, but being intoxicated on alcohol is fine. So cui bono, who benefits? Cannabis: The Wealthy - get to grow it. The Commoners - get to distribute, package it and sell it. Both share in the revenues and profits Alcohol: The Wealthy - get to distill and brew it, package it, and distribute as monopolies. Makes most of the revenues and profits. The Commoners - get to sell some of it retail. See the difference? -

Rotterdam Stabbing Rampage Knifeman shouted "Allahu Akbar"
Something must be done to keep out the extremist super freaks. Their religion may work for them in Saudi, Kuwait, Yemen, Sudan or Somalia. That same ultra conservative fanatislcism, is not wanted, needed, nor desirable in Western nations. Only moderates need apply should be the policy. And there should be a standard of willingness to assimilate, and the burden should be on the family to prove the burden is met. I believe immigration policy should be reformed to the point where it should be staged, and all Muslim families should show a willingness to assimilate. I also believe that families with Muslim daughters who are teenagers can start by proving that they have participated in a mandatory 2 piece bikini contest, with no face covering, by the age of 16, and for teenage boys they must show a burden of proof that they're not affiliated with any of the local imams, or madrasas. Are we serious about keeping our nation's safe from extremists, or not?- 1

Harris-Walz Campaign Opts for Media Silence as Election Nears
History tends to repeat. In 2019, Harris started her campaign for the Democratic nomination with a huge media push and lots of good press. As time went on, and she actually got media exposure, her campaign fell apart. Obviously they are tyring to avoid a repeat. The problem is that she made her unpopular positions rather well known during that campaign. Gun confiscation, 4th amendment violation, banning private health insurance, banning fracking, etc. And now she usualy has unnamed campaign factotums try to roll back her previous policies. As a campaign strategy it has a chance to work, given the generally obsequeous media landscape she has the good fortune to inhabit. But as a moral issue, it is inexcusable.- 1
