miancina
did somebody do it with a van? How much did it cost? Is it better to just go with a plane? What are my options?
treetops
A 30 day visa extension is obtained from your local Immigration Office. How you get there is up to you but a plane is not likely to be needed. 1

DrJack54
OP you mean border bounce for visa exempt entry. That currently gives 45 day stamp. Where are you located. That determines best option. Your OP is very vague

For me it would be return (cheap) flight to Saigon for a mini holiday. 3

novacova
You will get a 45 day stamp when you arrive before march 31. Then about 2 weeks before expiration date you’ll need to go to the immigration office to get a 30 day extension. Then do a border run before the extension expires, take a bus or rent a car, cheaper and easier.

I would rather fly out of the country if I was first going to the airport! Did Puh Quoc last time, perfect gettaway from Thailand. Not busy, and ok destination to stay one or two nights. Edit note, no papers and hassel free. Edited February 11, 2023 by Hummin

Nope, direct flights and I hope it will last. Best visa run ever! And if you need a hide out for a month before your return, you get 30 days visa exempt on arrival at Puh Quoc not the normal 15 days you get at mainland. https://th.vietjetair.com/ Could not link the news article so screen shot instead Edited February 11, 2023 by Hummin 1
