Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday called the lawsuit challenging the FDA's approval of abortion pills an "attack on the very foundation of our public health system."

The big picture: The vice president's comments come ahead of a ruling —expected as soon as today — that could end access nationwide to mifepristone, a drug used for medication abortions and miscarriage care, potentially making this the most important abortion ruling since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

Mifepristone is taken alongside misoprostol to end a pregnancy during the first 10 weeks gestation.

I have NEVER had a self-proclaimed Christian be able to answer this question satisfactorily:

Since your creator is all-knowing and all-powerful, he was already aware of an abortion that is going to happen, so couldn't he just plant the soul that was supposed to go to THAT body into the NEXT available body?

Deep thinking isn't exactly their forté, is it?

Superstition is inevitably superficial.

Women make up at least 50 per cent of the US electorate.  If they cannot be bothered to make sure their rights and health are protected, why should we be surprised that the bible thumpers are winning?
