How is the weather in Hua Hin / Prachuap Khirikhan in August?

Does it rain TOO often?

Hua Hin tourist web site says that the weather is fine until October, but weatherunderground.com shows only T-storms and showers.

There will be some rain showers, it is the rainy season.

However the wind is off the land so the sea is calm.

Can be daily, but may be better than that.

Just roll with the punches and have a good book to hand if it does pour.

After the rain the air is scrubbed clean and the sun very bright.
