Arthur C Clarke may have invented the communications satellite but Gerry Anderson invented the reusable spacecraft. All we need now is horizontal take-off and single stage to orbit. My grandfather was grateful to have lived from the time of the first cars to seeing walks on the moon and landing of the shuttle.
