Hi guys,

The juristic did my TM30 the other day (I entered via a border-run from Cambodia on the 6th). I'm planning to do an extension and I just noticed that the juristic didn't enter any stuff such as point of entry, type of visa, expire date of stay etc.

I managed to get a username/password for this residence so I can do another TM30 registration. Should I do another one, right now, with all the info applied - or do you guys thinks it sufficient with the one the juristic did? (essentially my name and my passport).

Sharing from my own experience. I grew up here in Thailand, been living here for 25 years and have gone through different types of visas. After 32 years old when I can no longer get a Non-O in the Thai embassy from my native country, I started using agencies. I had volunteer visa + Ed visa + visa exempt + tourist visa(from Laos) in turns. One time, I forgot to bring the supporting documents for my entry. An IO in Suvarnabhumi took me to side and asked me to wait. After few minutes he came with pages of A4 paper, it had all my records going back 5 years. He probably didn't want to print the rest, waste of paper ???? I even spoke Thai in our whole conversation, he wasn't rude but just explaining. It was my fault too because I also forgot to take out at least 10k cash to show. He asked me to get a tourist visa in Vientiane. I got detained for 11 hours because the next flight took that long. I got my tourist visa in Laos and got back to BKK after few days.

My agent said they are really targeting people with ED and Volunteer stamps, most especially if you didn't do any at all. I volunteered in some foundations and learned Thai cultural studies, but even that won't be seen as something positive by IOs if the visa came from agents.
