Police in Prachinburi, central Thailand, expect a quick arrest after a man armed with a knife robbed a 7-Eleven store at a gas station on Chaeng Wattana Road in the downtown area last night.

 

Staff said that the man, aged about 30 in a green shirt, walked into the store and engaged staff in conversation about buying alcohol.

 

He then whipped out a knife and threatened them. They gave him 5,000 baht from a safe.

 

The robber fled on a Honda Wave bike parked outside.

 

Staff recognised him and police know his identity because of familiar mystic tattoos on his right wrist.

 

They also have clear CCTV evidence and expect a quick arrest in the case, reported Thai Rath.

Sounds like a very smart robber. Couldn´t he just had left his ID card on the counter.

Friends brother round the corner just got out of the slammer after 2 years. Robbed his employers warehouse. Cut the CCTV cable and covered up the getaway vans number plate in case caught on other cameras along the road. Unfortunately they cut the wrong camera cable and were caught in 4k, arrested the next day. Always wear a mask!

so they RTP have witness positive ID, quality CCTV, and are "expecting a quick arrest"
