Whats this thing on the bottom of my foot?

Featured Replies

I have pain on the bottom right side of my foot. I had a beach lady scraping my foot with a blade and she took a photo of my ugly foot.

Do I have a minor infection. I asked if there was puss there but dont think she understood. Its painful on the edge. Im wondering if theres puss under that area?

Its been sensitive for 3 weeks now. Should I see a skin specialist or a orthopaedic dr or do nothing? Should a dr squeeze that and irrigate it?

I wonder if thats what I have. A wart

I read google dr which says

The most commonly used treatments for warts and verrucas removal are salicylic acid and cryotherapy (freezing).

Maybe I can get mine freezed off

A 'Nevus Pen' works also.

I had one when I was a teenager. Doc froze it. Problem solved.

Really hard to tell from picture. Is it a raised lesion?

Whats the fix for this if it is? Is the freeze dry method at the skin dr the way to go?

If it is raised then indeed could be a wart. Likely a plantar wart. May go away on its own eventually but if really uncomfortable then doctor can freeze it off (cryo).

I ended up finding cheap treatment on the beach. Paid 300 baht for an old lady to scrape the old dead skin off my feet. When she saw the wound in the pic she said 'mai bpen rai' and scraped it as well. It hurt a bit at first but she really cleaned up the whole area. Cannot believe it but the next day onwards the pain is gone. Amazing thailand

Hope it was hygienic ! Depending on how deep she went, doesnt mean it wont come back in a couple of weeks.
