Popular Post webfact
Daily News Thai Caption: Coins not accepted? Daily News reported on a viral TikTok video posted by a user called kiw.nattapong40. He was on the Chalong Rat expressway and had forgotten to get cash and only had coins to pay with. He asked the female attendant to help him count them for him but she refused advising him to reverse and go to another booth. This he did where there was a male attendant. He said "Really?" when the driver recounted that he had not been able to pay with coins at the other booth. He accepted them. @kiw.nattapong40 ตอบกลับ @lukman.1646 ♬ เสียงต้นฉบับ - Kiw.Nattapong40 Netizens commented in droves pointing out that coins must be accepted as they are legal tender. But motorists should prepare the correct amount and not expect attendants to count their money for them. This seemed to be at the crux of the case. @kiw.nattapong40 ทางด่วนฉลองรัชออกจากพระราม 9 ซอย 21 มาขึ้นทางด่วนไม่ยอมรับตังค์ ♬ เสียงต้นฉบับ - Kiw.Nattapong40 -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2023-03-23 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Popular Post steven100
The supervisor should let the attendant go ..... she's not customer friendly .... she's not in line with the Toll company's ethics & behavior principles. 3
Popular Post richard_smith237
There was no barrier... If the attendant refuses to count the coins just drive on.. You’ve paid already ! -------- Way back in the early days I used to get irritated by everything at 7-11’s being priced to the nearest 25 satang... over the years I acquired a large cup full of 25 and 50 satang coins from nearby 7-11. A house mate had the same issue. We went to 7-11 to exact some childish revenge... Mate went first... bought a couple of items and handed a cup full of satang coins - the staff fastidiously counted them and left the remainder with my friend. My turn, I did the same, handed the cashier the cup full of satang... the cashier’s response was brilliant - Exact !!!.... She’d stated that the money in the cup was exactly the correct amount... all rather humorous and the cashier handled it brilliantly !!... It was always smiles and hello’s after that... 3 1

Probably to deter people from bringing in handfuls of the irritating and useless. Your best bet is to bring them to a bank Your affiliated with as if you aren't there customer they'll also decline to waist there employees time counting small change. billd766
I save all the 1, 2, 5 and 10 baht coins, and every so often I count them into 50 or 100 baht stacks, bag them up and my wife takes them to the fresh market where they are always welcome. I do the same with the 25 and 50 satang coins, but they end up back at the 7/11 where the staff are happy to take them.
