Will DOGE Be Effective In Cutting Wasteful Spending?
"BBC News has agreed to pay $15m (£12m) to US President-elect Donald Trump to settle a defamation lawsuit after its star anchor falsely said he had been found "liable for rape"" https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cgrw57q4y9do Do you hate him enough to keep lying about him like George did, and shell out 15 million? Not recognizing what is delusional? You are making silly and highly defamatory false claims. Time for better sources for your "news"? -

Trump's aggression towards friendly neighbor Canada is much more severe than pathetic. It's INSANE! -

Probably, but this exercise was for publicity purposes, where rationality is suspended. -

Promises made Promises kept , POTUS first few days! The lefts radical response!
Its all about the feeling! Your side lost because of the feeling and 70+ % of Americans “felt” the country was going in the wrong direction! Somehow I find it difficult to understand how non citizens of my country would comprehend such a phenomenon ! Exit polling results: “The voters in the 2024 presidential election were looking for a leader and someone who could bring needed change, and for that change they looked back to former President Donald Trump. He was propelled by an electorate dissatisfied with the state of the country, the economy and by the many voters who were feeling the impact of inflation”. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/exit-polls-2024-presidential-election/# -

Relation mirrors and a person's height?
I feel your pain. I normally see my arms in mirrors and have to lean over to get a good look. You can get the above, you can look for longer mirrors, and you can also get the thread adaptors but can opt for them to not adapt, which then just extends. -

My Thai Tax Office Tax Filing Experience...
Thank you. I was fortunate enough to transfer in a fair amount right before 2024, so I have enough Baht to cover most of my spending in Thailand for the next couple of years, assuming no large, unforeseen purchases. Bringing in only a nominal amount each year, which is still within the tax-exempt threshold, helps to top up my Baht savings and extend the time before I need to transfer in larger amounts again each year. This also allows me to wait a couple more years to see how the DTA issue develops with the TRD, which has also been on my mind ever since the announcement of these tax changes for residents. That said, as I mentioned in a previous post, I already discussed this with a woman at the tax office. I showed her one of my overseas statements that displayed both income and tax withholding from a couple of years ago as an example, and she told me that I could report the withheld tax as a credit on page 4, section 11, line 13, which is the section where one can enter foreign tax credits to offset Thai tax liability. However, as others have pointed out within this topic, that may not technically be the correct place to report it. So, as you said, hopefully, we’ll get more clarity on this matter going forward from the TRD to where they address the issue of DTAs within the PRD90 forms with greater precision. .
