Where Are The Manicure Places?

Featured Replies

I have heard such shops where they give you a manicure, hairwash, facial, etc. Where are these kind of shops? I heard they were concentrated at a certain area? If you know some, where are the good ones?

Thanks

they are located right in the middle of the sex district. i honestly wonder why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thais put a lot of effort into looking as good as they do :o , so spa-type services are everywhere.

But I usually went to a different place for manicure, facial, massage. I found a manicure place I liked around Siam Square, don't remember the name, but there's a ton of places there that looked decent.

I got my facials (hush!) at Yves Rocher in the mall that's between MBK and paragon.

For massages, I went to Soi Ari, but I couldn't give you directions. If you can't find anything closer, less touristy, the massages at Wat Po are great, just more expensive than a place on the soi.

I've had almost nothing but bad experiences getting spa services in the more touristy bits -- kao san, suk. Some people like them, but I found the Kao san places filthy, and the suk places had crap service.

'Take Care' Beauty Salon in Suk Soi 19, just keep on the Westin side and walk down about 50 metres or so a few steps after the Family Mart. It caters to middle class thai ladies and there is certainly an air of professionalism about it, unlike the other 'salons' that litter the area, which are quite clearly for guys named Fritz.
