Donald’s mafia state
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2025/mar/07/donald-trump-america-mafia-state Behold Donald Corleone, the US president who behaves like a mafia boss – but without the principles. Of course, one hesitates to make the comparison, not least because Donald Trump would like it. And because the Godfather is an archetype of strength and macho glamour while Trump is weak, constantly handing gifts to America’s enemies and getting nothing in return. But when the world is changing so fast – when a nation that has been a friend for more than a century turns into a foe in a matter of weeks – it helps to have a guide. My colleague Luke Harding clarified the nature of Vladimir Putin’s Russia when he branded it the Mafia State. Now we need to attach the same label to the US under Putin’s most devoted admirer. -

DOGE Makes Its Latest Errors Harder to Find
Typical deflection and gaslighting. Ignoring the false claims made by Musk and doge and then try to spin it to blame the people that caught their lies. They would have never corrected it on their own if they weren't caught. Thats why the pulled all the identifiable info off the site so its almost impossible to fact check their exaggerated claims. You really have no moral compass do you? So sad for you to be lost like this. -

Tax Filing Experience: Jomtien [March-2025]
I think the view of the majority of posters on this forum is no, you do not have to file if your income is not assessable for the tax calculation. There is a minority who disagree and who are determined to file a tax return even thou their income is not assessable. And some of the discussion is debating whether DTA exempt, royal Decree exempt, and ministerial instruction exempt income should be considered assessable despite being tax exempt. So you may not get a 100% agreement answer from all forum members.
