Not wildly false at all, and there is a reason that "advisors and specialists" in the media field are used extensively to "train" prominent figures in politics and industry, and the reason I know is because I have undertaken that training when working for a huge American company, when facing reporters.

I also was a friend of a Prime Minister at a later time, and she said that her "advisors" knew which journalists were going to be problematic, and often asked for their questions beforehand.

One more snippet of information for you.........during this media training you are trained never to fully answer the question put to you, but your main aim is to put across what you and your organisation have done, highlighting the positives, with perhaps a slight reference to the question at the very end of your answer.

So always get your positives across/what you want to say, is the mantra.

PS. I will add a rider to my post, inasmuch as I do believe that Joe Biden is too old to run again for President, and unfortunately it's a medical fact that as we get older, and especially into his age, we are forgetful of names, places and events and easily get confused – – this is not Alzheimer's per se, but a natural part of growing old.

The question should be, not that he should/should not have assistance with his presentations and journalists questions, but is he too old for the job because that's what nature does to us?

Why the Dems have not lined up somebody else for this position, is IMO, beyond belief.

If Biden is too old any reasonable person would have to conclude that Trump is as well. Mental acuity has much to do with a person's physical condition over 80. Biden is in way better shape than Trump regardless pof their age difference. His diet is way better as well which has an enormous effect on mental acuity.

I agree with that, inasmuch as age and diet may well have affected trump, however poor education and just being plain dumb also come into play in his case.

What he does have going for him (not that I like him one iota) is the hustlers "mind" in being able to "talk to" the mindless masses which seem to follow him.

Unfortunately for them, the Democrats DO have somebody else lined up. The problem is, that person is the VP Kamala Harris.  Given the political situation it would be well nigh impossible to deny her the nomination if Biden were to step aside.  And the closer the election gets, the harder it will be.

And everyone knows that, in a general election, Harris would lose to a potted plant. Or a potted Trump, let alone a GOP candidate without Trump's baggage.

Why did Joe Biden chose Kamala Harris  to be Vice President ?

It was a very forward straight forward question .

(You are well over doing it on these conspiracy theory accusations )

My deepest apologies, but there are so many mind-blowing conspiracy theories coming from the MAGA base that it makes me deeply suspicious of even seemingly innocent questions.

Now, to answer your question; he probably thought at the time that it was the right choice. Sounds about right, doesn't it?

I would appreciate it if you wouldn't refer to me as being part of the "MAGA base" , thanks .

Its reassuring to know that Joe didn't choose her because he thought that it would be the wrong choice though

Why did you ask why Biden chose Harris if you then assert you know his thoughts on the matter.

Methinks you only know your own thoughts on the matter and the rest of us have a good idea what those thoughts of yours are.

Well I enjoyed it insofar as I had a good laugh. Up North News? First I was thinking Yorkshire and then I saw Wisconsin mentioned. Well, I suppose if you cast the net far enough I guess you'll find what you need.

Owners are Courier Newsroom, who describe themselves as building "the largest left-leaning local news network in the country. We neutralize false information by delivering good, factual information directly to those stuck in right-wing echo chambers".

No bias there then!!

I wonder how many Americans associate the term ‘up north’ with Yorkshire.

I suspect the people running ‘up north news’ have more skin in the game than you.

Which begs a rhetorical question, ‘why do you even care?’.

Thanks for the look-see.

Seriously I couldnt give a ratz about American politics. This has got much worse since that grub Murdoch muscled in. Let's be fair dinkum he is a defacto Yank who's dictating to everyone. If you think he's bad wait till he falls off the perch and his son moves in. They done everything to get Trump into power and they're playing their game again to re ignite Trumps faithfull. America should revoke his US citizenship and tell him to go back to Australia where even they have had a gutfull of his journalistic garbage. I believe in Australia they call them poo house phrophets.

I care because the strength of the USA is critical to the free world. Right now America is being badly led by Biden and is in decline. Most Americans can see that now.

I’m not sure you are in a position to speak for most Americans, your concern is noted.

Really?

Do you have a link to a poll or something for that?

https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2022/2022-population-estimates.html#:~:text=DEC.,components of change released today.

Note: Updated on 12/22/22 at 2:15pm EST. Changes are in bold.

DEC. 22, 2022 – After a historically low rate of change between 2020 and 2021, the U.S. resident population increased by 0.4%, or 1,256,003, to 333,287,557 in 2022, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Vintage 2022 national and state population estimates and components of change released today.

Would you like to even guess how many of the 333,287,557 US population you would think are the most that agree with you thoughts?

bear in mind it would need to be more than 170 million people.

Of course they are protecting him. Same as we are seeing multiple law suits against Trump and De Santis.

Corporate America choosing the next president. Democracy - USA style. Makes Thailand look angelic.

The same ‘Corporate America’ that was given a $1.3Trillion tax break by Trump.

Go figure.
