Is condominium electricity bill cheaper than apartment one?

Featured Replies

Apartments are owned by a single entity and can charge what they want.

Then again I have lived in a condo where the electricity was more than the Government rate.

Ask,

Yeah ^^^, condos are usually (but not always) government rate.

Apartments are privately metered and so can pad the bill (there are official limits but ...)

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

In condominiums each unit gets a bill from the electricity company.

When I rented a condominium, I received the bill with the name of the owner of "my" unit in my mailbox and I paid that.

I don't know if this is standard procedure or if it is also possible that if you rent that the owner pays x but asks you to pay x + a.

Apartments often 8 baht a unit, sometimes 10, condos around 4. If newer condo will have better AC units
