DE FACTO PHEU THAI PARTY BOSS Thaksin Shinawatra has been unusually reserved and patient over an apparent inter-party conflict between the Move Forward and his own camp.

The deposed prime minister has only tweeted to say “sounds familiar” in response to emotion-filled, belligerent remarks made by one of his supporters during Wednesday’s Caretalk podcast following a verbal exchange between Pheu Thai leader Chonlanan Srikaew and Sita Divari of the Thai Sang Thai during a press conference and an MoU signing among the Move Forward-led coalition partners.

Chonlanan had dared the Move Forward, which has 151 MPs from the May 14 election, thus becoming the largest party and core of eight coalition partners with a combined force of 312 MPs, to choose between the second largest party with 141 MPs, namely the Pheu Thai, and the other one with only six MPs, namely the Thai Sang Thai.

Sita insisted that Chonlanan agree to sign what was called an Advance MoU to assure both the Move Forward and Pheu Thai will stay together on the same side of the parliament chamber’s aisle, no matter if that means either in government or opposition.

That photo looks a bit creepy.

Do you think so?

Well, Thaksin could certainly lay off the hair dye. Yingluck is still looking good, the two younger ones seem quite normal.

Not creepy really - unless you are disturbed to think he has a sister and children?

sort of like the familiar sounding name taksin that keeps trying to gain power ? time to pack it in and call it a day.

people voted and they didn't pick you and your kind.

go away now.

Comprehension issues?

Your post doesn’t align with “reserved and patient”

They certainly picked his “kind” as the pro democracy side got close to 70% of the vote.

Time for you to come back to reality.

Looks like they were out handbag shopping.

I think there are only two bad options:

a) they were out (luxury) handbag shopping

b) they have a display of their previous (luxury) handbag shopping trips somewhere.

I am sure the poor farmers will appreciate their down to earth family meeting.

Papa, I want this 500,000 THB bag.

My darling, you have already 5 of them. But no problem, sure I buy you one more for you.

Why would anybody ask him or care what he says?

He told the Thai public at least 100 times that he has nothing to do with politics anymore? Did he lie?

I hope they showed him lots of pictures of his grandchildren so that they can talk about them. This is all he cares about. Or not?

Yep.

Not the second loser (BJT)

Not the third loser (PPP)

Not the fourth loser (UTN)

Not the fifth loser (DP)

The first loser actually got nearly as many seats (141) as the second, third and fourth losers combined (147)

The first loser got more party list votes (10.9 million) than the second, third, fourth and fifth losers combined (7.5 million)

Hmm.

It appears the first loser did rather well compared to all but the winners.
