All south east  asian countries have a well established political elite with all their filth aound them ... Positive change is coming to Thailand ( hopefully ) , but the new future government needs to be diplomatic to not create more enemies to them . Cha cha , Pita .

East to say......Pita this makes you sound like any other fraudulent politician.....all words, no action.

Are you a Mor Du ? (fortune teller) how can there be "no action" when they are not yet in power. Your bias is showing.

Those goals might push the baht stronger that isn't to go well with many that live and visit.????

What? stronger Baht = cheaper imports (oil, etc) and more return on exports. Or is your only concern the rate at which your foreign pension is converted?

Now he's starting to sound like a politician, trying to save the world, when TH needs their immediate attention, as having enough problems of their own.

TH already is leading the region.  Look how Cambo & Nam followed Thai's lead with getting as many tourist as possible, before building the infrastructure to support a 30-50% increase in people using the infrastructure half the year.  Totally trashed the place for profits, to the point that savvy tourist, doing research, go elsewhere now.

TH is a tourist destination for the poor, ignorant, naïve, novice tourist or sex tourist.  Their repeat tourist customer base.

Governments generally speaking want weak currencies as it pushes exports higher. Especially true of Asian economies. Governments also spend lots of money and enjoy creating it out of thin air.

The opposite is more likely.

Don't you mean to say: "He's still a fraudulent charge"

As he was never truly elected. Nor are most of the members - lower and upper houses.

He gained "charge" by way of an illegal coup.

Weak local currency is good for local exporters but is bad for local importers! There should always be a balance between exporter and importer interests!

China is doing very well.

He had the most public votes in the previous election and he had a solid majority in the lower (with many coalition partner) and in the upper house.
So he was elected.....and not come with the Senators...he had a majority without them as well.

Lol, balance. Afraid not. China is/was doing well because it purchased commodities cheap, low import tarrif and exporting to any and all countries that will take it's cr@p

Importers are rarely favored in this mix. You've not heard the common phrase "(Asian) export driven economies?" Usually, if a nation needs to import say rolled steel or biotech they will just have fewer tarrifs on that material. No balance. Thailand a perfect example.

I hope for Thailand he can fulfil what he promises.

At least he got the brain how Thailand could perform in the future.

And the Myanmar generals are afraid now because their fellow boys in arms will be send to barracks and hopefully will not rise again.

Not fortune telling.....just experience. Those who put their faith in the newest, bestest, non corrupt politician, are usually disappointed. What is that old adage about spotting an action or deed and thinking you might be right....but spotting a pattern and you know you are right. The pattern of politicians in Thailand is all big easy words....and these words are particularly stupid because it is not within Pita's power to make Thailand a regional leader. Other countries might have something to say about giving top their positions.

He is a dud, a fraud and a cheat, S well as incompetent, inept and inadequate - the sooner he exits stage left the better for all.
