Are Old Thai notes collectors items?

Featured Replies

Today I saw 1,10 and 60 baht notes. Also the early 500 and 1000 baht notes.

Are these good items to collect?

Funny that..I have some also that I bought over 30 years ago at an outdoor market in Chonburi.

Some 1,5,10 and 20 baht notes.Rama 9 looks very young in these.

I've given them to my wife because if I took them to a dealer I can only assume that I would get the short end of any deal.

Yes, good collectors items if you can hold for approx. 100 years.

Ask a local girl.

anything after mid1980s is of little worth as special commemorative banknotes destined to the "collector" market started to be produced in huge quantities.

I bought a heap of old notes 20+ years ago, forgot about them.

Well, if your bum gun fails through low pressure , you are good to go.
