What do you think should be included? Any Thailand features worthy of world recognition. Perhaps the mighty Mekong River?

patpong by night .. only joking maybe there a spot for a temple ,some of the best in the world..

Doubt there'll be any Thai entries, 7 off the top of my head which will probably be in the running could be:

Mount Everest

Great Barrier Reef

Niagara Falls

Grand Canyon

Amazon River

Ayres Rock

Table Mountain

I think this one is a bit too vague though. Where do you draw the line? Could you have The Amazon Rainforest, which covers thousands of miles? The Sahara desert,? What about whole countries which are naturally very beautiful and relatively untouched by human development, e.g. Laos, Papua New Guinea? They don't have any real stand-out impressive sites, yet are naturally very impressive all-round. Could these be counted?

Valid examples are:

Aletsch Glacier, Switzerland

Baikal Sea, Russia

Dinosaur Provincial Park, Canada

Galapagos Island, Ecuador

Geirangerfjord, Norway

Grand Canyon, USA

Great Barrier Reef, Australia

Iguaçu Waterfalls, Argentina/Brazil

Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Redwood National Park, USA

Sagramatha Park, Nepal

Serengeti Park,Tanzania

The following examples are NOT valid:

Bird Migration

Gulf Stream

Monsoon Rain

North or South Po

Northern Lights

Milky Way

:o I really pity the poor sods that have to sift through some of the countless rubbish that must get sent.
