Phuket – A Russian man called tourist police after he was being inconvenienced by an American man at a condominium in Phuket who he says was continually being a nuisance and causing noise disturbances.

The Phuket Tourist Police told the Phuket Express on Thursday (June 15th) that they were notified from a Russian man who stayed at a condominium in Phuket about an American who stayed near his room at the same complex and allegedly used a laser to point at his eyes almost every day. The American also said rude words to him and always opened loud music and disturbed others at the condominium, claimed the Russian man.

 

The Phuket Tourist Police talked with the American man who admitted that he did what the Russian man had reported.

American is an inconsiderate childish annoying ##, if he shawn a lazer pointer in my eyes I would respond with malice, very dangerous thing to do especially here in Asia were control over such things is limited

Pointing a Lazer pen into someone's eyes is not a good idea & doing it regularly is just crazy, brains of a rocking horse springs to mind & he should have his backside kicked harder enough to realise the conciquences of his actions.......

In my old times on Phuket, payment of a 'service fee' because police was inconvenienced to drive out for nonsense would have been the preferred method of cooling down hapless minds.

Now, after a decade of living here, we are not all "farangs"?  We are excluded and Chinese and Russians are just "foreigners".  In the spotlight every time.  Reap what you sow.  TAT wouldn't know the difference between an Indian and a Nigerian if one was F*****g a goat!  I don't know about you guys, but I am getting a bit fed up here with the racism that is running wild.  Glad you have your special handles.

Noisy neighbors can be a pain in the drearier for sure, whether be Thai for foreigners, and I have a fair share of them in my 30+ years living in condos, and not always you can complain about it and you just have to put up with it or move.

If true, what gives the American, or anybody for that matter of fact, the right to point a laser at somebody, Just another example of a self-entitled foreigner living in Thailand.

Anything would be considered an inconvenience by Phuket cops. It's the Thai province in which money talks.  They'd be easily interchangeable with Pattaya police.

You would have thought as both guests in Thailand they could have discussed the situation between themselves instead of getting the police involved 

The American guy will be on watch now for any further incidents
