Officers from the Central Investigation Bureau have arrested a man in Phuket, who is accused of committing corporate fraud to the tune of 25 million baht. The Phuket Express reports that the man, a former broker, was arrested at a shop in the northern Thalang district.

The CIB have named the suspect as 47 year old Mr. Panyawat. It’s understood he previously worked as a broker at an unidentified company in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima. While there, it’s alleged that he forged legal documents and defrauded the firm out of 25 million baht.

According to the Phuket Express report, the CIB has declined to name the company while the investigation is ongoing and until all charges against the suspect have been filed.
