Pattaya Baht Bus Reportedly Hits Foreign Motorcyclist and Flees

Pattaya — A vehicle, which an eyewitness said was a baht bus, hit a foreign motorcyclist on Pattaya Beach Road and then fled. The accident happened at 03:30 AM today, June 25th, in front of the Hard Rock Hotel.

Sawang Boriboon rescuers found the victim of an unknown identity on Beach Road. The foreign male was lying on the ground with a head injury. He displayed symptoms resembling alcohol intoxication, the rescuers told The Pattaya News.

 

His black ADV 150 Honda motorbike was found fallen nearby. The victim was rushed to a local hospital.

It is after all Pattaya, where on a daily basis, people get robed, knocked over, cheated, beat up, killed and forced to pay bribes, if it didn't happen there it will not be Pattaya.

From the full article.  "In an interview with an eyewitness, 38-year-old Ms. Prinya Kamphaengphet, she said she was out for a walk when she noticed the injured victim racing side by side with a vehicle that resembled a baht bus."  

 

The dude was allegedly racing what "resembled" a baht bus. And ironically, she was just out for a walk at 3:30am.

 

So...was it actually a baht bus, were they racing, and was she really just out for her morning constitutional?

I just dont see why the alleged bus driver wouldn't just stop. It probably wasn't a baht bus. Those guys make their living driving. They don't usually drink heavily behind the wheel
