Presumably, there is no requirement for Thai nationals who are living overseas to purchase travel/health insurance when they visit Thailand for a holiday.  

 

I have looked into obtaining travel insurance for from the UK for a 2 month+ period for a 16 year old but it seems very difficult.

 

I wondered if it is possible to buy this type of insurance within Thailand itself (i.e. from a Thai insurance company/broker) rather than buying from the UK for example.  I know you can buy short-term domestic travel insurance if you are living in Thailand.
