Amidst an evening ceremony held on June 30, 2023, at the Blue Square, Bali Hai Pier, Pattaya City, Governor Thawatchai Sritong of Chonburi spearheaded an operation aimed at eliminating criminal activities from the area.

The "Coastline Security" campaign intends to safeguard the lives and properties of residents and tourists alike. Dignitaries present included Deputy Commissioner Chawin Puratananont from Provincial Police Region 7, Mayor Promesworn Ngampichet representing the 14th Infantry Division, and officers from various police units, including Provincial Police, Highway Police, Marine Police, Immigration Police, and Tourist Police, reported 77kaoded.

This proactive endeavor involved a formidable force of 300 officers, supported by 21 police vehicles and 37 military vehicles. It serves as a resounding testament to the unwavering commitment to foster a secure and inviting environment for all.

The operation's primary focus lies in fostering multi-sector collaboration to prevent and suppress criminal activities that adversely impact the vibrant tourism sector. Recent incidents involving firearm-related offenses, endangering lives and property, have necessitated a concerted effort to alleviate public concerns.

Fase 2: Also clean up the beaches and sea. Will do tourism no harm.

Fase 3: Put Garbage bins on the sidewalks and beach and clean and empty them so now and then.

Face 4: Place billboards with instructions to put the garbage in the bins.

So still some work to do.
